Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1⁄4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup corned beef stock
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1⁄4 cup vinegar
  • Pepper and salt
Instructions
  1. Step 1:

    Beat the sugar and egg together. 

  2. Step 2:

    Add mustard, flour, salt, and pepper. 

  3. Step 3:

    Gradually stir in the liquids. 

  4. Step 4:

    Put the saucepan over medium heat. Cook the mixture until it thickens.

  5. Step 5:

    Serve while hot over sliced ham or corned beef alongside with the crab cakes.
