Ingredients
  • 2 pounds cube steaks
  • 1 fourth flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 envelope Lipton's onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can milk
  • Splash of Kitchen Bouquet I mostly use it for added color, I usually add about a tsp.
  • 1 tsp. dry thyme
  • 1 c. sliced mushrooms
  • parsley
  • fettuccini noodles or hot cooked rice
Instructions
  1. Prepare the steaks on a cutting board and then sprinkle one side with flour, salt, and pepper. Use a meat tenderizer in pounding. Repeat the sprinkling of flour, salt and pepper and the pounding on the other side of the steak meat.

  2. Mushroom cream soup, dry onion soup, kitchen bouquet, milk, and thyme have to be the mix in a big bowl.

  3. The single layer of the steak meat has to be placed on the slow cooker and then pour the mushroom soup with the sliced mushrooms.

  4. Do the same process on all the remaining layers of steak meat, sauce and mushrooms.

  5. Cooking it in a slow cooker on low is for 6-8 hours or if you want you can have on high for only 4 hours, but you have to be extra attentive.
